ATRIUM has been shortlisted for the World Architecture Festival (WAF) 2025—one of the most prestigious and influential international competitions in the fields of architecture and urban design. Each year, WAF brings together leading architectural practices from around the world and offers a unique format of professional exchange: all finalist projects are presented live by their authors before an international jury and a global audience of peers.
In 2025, two ATRIUM projects have been selected as finalists in different categories, recognized by the jury for their methodological depth, spatial precision, and the ability of architecture to respond meaningfully to real-life scenarios.
Educational Complex Sirius
Category: Future Projects – Education
The project for the Presidential Lyceum in the federal territory of Sirius (Sochi) reimagines the school as an open and adaptable environment for personal development. Spanning 5.8 hectares, the campus comprises a school for 2,500 students, a kindergarten, and a network of public spaces. The spatial structure is conceived as a "city within a city," with streets, pathways, forums, plazas, and green terraces—where educational infrastructure is embedded in the cultural and social fabric of the territory.
Garage for a Car Collection
Category: Completed Buildings – Transport
This private garage project integrates three core functions: an exhibition space for a car collection, a private area for meetings and relaxation, and a dedicated sports zone. Designed as a continuous sculptural volume in seamless white Corian, the building takes the form of a ribbon, evoking the fluid aesthetics of motion and automotive design.
The World Architecture Festival 2025 will take place from November 12 to 14 in Miami, USA. Both ATRIUM projects will be presented live before an international jury and a global architectural community on one of the world’s most prominent architectural stages.
