That is why Alabushevo, conveniently located near Moscow - with convenient transport accessibility, ready-made infrastructure and connected communications - has every chance of becoming a center of urban innovation, a smart “city within a city” - and at the same time an outpost that sets the vector of development for all innovative industries in the capital.
To achieve this goal, ATRIUM has developed a comprehensive strategy for the development of the Alabushevo territory until 2030. It includes a master plan, design code and landscape design concept. The total area of buildings in 10 years will be 1 million square meters, and in total, it is planned to create about 40 thousand jobs on the site. A community center with coworking spaces, its own engineering center and exhibition halls is being designed.
However, the central core of the Technopolis remains the administrative and business center, which includes offices, hotel rooms, exhibition grounds and conference halls, a food court and recreational facilities - that is, everything you need to conduct effective negotiations and successful deals. However, the building will be radically transformed thanks to the introduction of a design code - a powerful tool for transforming an industrial zone into a smart city with modern and progressive architecture. A bright, but uniform solution of all objects - from checkpoints and production areas to small architectural forms and landscape architecture elements - will create a unique style of the cluster territory.
The design code from ATRIUM is based on the structure of the molecular crystal lattice, which echoes the current SEZ logo. It was she who was also inspired by the faceted forms of curtain facades made of metal sheets, designed to renovate buildings without major repairs; and decorative patterns that subordinate the language of innovation, materialized in volumes and textures, even power transmission towers and manholes. Another means of unification and at the same time personalization is the color code: the same for public buildings and spaces, it emphasizes the individuality of each resident, who can paint constructive or attachment elements, unfastened parts of the facade or the ends of their production buildings in their corporate color. Also, the design code includes regulations for street profiles, navigation elements, fences. To create a comfortable environment, it is planned to introduce advanced technological developments, such as modern branded benches of various shapes with the ability to install charging stations and wi-fi modules in them, devices that create transport infrastructure management algorithms, into which an information stand, a video surveillance system and a cellular station can be built communication, etc. Compulsory separate waste collection is planned to be organized throughout Alabushevo.
As for landscape design, in addition to a developed road network with charging stations for electric vehicles, as well as pedestrian routes and bicycle paths with parking for public bicycles and scooters, a green frame permeates the entire territory, creating a favorable ecological environment. And on the bank of the Skhodnya River, a park has been designed, where technopolis employees can relax in nature, do sports in the fresh air, hold a corporate party or, conversely, retire.
The total area of the new design code is 164.9 hectares. A new square park has already been opened, and work has begun on designing the renovation of the facade of the administrative and business center. The territory improvement project is planned to be implemented by 2026. An integrated approach to the development of Alabushev will make the innovation cluster recognizable all over the world.
