Gymnasium in Moscow region
The hall is located in a natural environment on a private territory, its design allows for many sports from mini-football and basketball to tennis and wrestling. It is also possible to organize a social reception for a large number of guests, for which purpose a pre-cooking kitchen with a separate entrance for "loading" was included in the list of premises.

The simple "hangar" function received a non-trivial formal solution, thanks to the division of the premises into several blocks. The hall itself is enclosed in a vaulted shell with a 9.6 m lifting boom, which is cut off on one side by an oblique slanted glass wall. All other spaces are grouped into three one-story "boxes" with terraces on the roofs. The distribution of these blocks around the field provides an asymmetrical plan. As a result, the building reveals many interesting angles with different dynamics of subordination of the curvilinear shell and other elements of the composition, which take turns coming to the fore. Thus, the shell partially extends beyond the hall, covering one of the terraces. As a result, the external space is also differentiated by the degree of openness. The interaction of the parts is articulated due to the contrast of the transparency of the hall and the wooden finish of other volumes, the massif of which is emphasized by the thick white frames of the end portals. An important structural element of the building is the one-meter-high glued wooden arches, on which the pumped-up ETFE "cushions" of three degrees of transparency are fixed (the densest ones cover the very top of the vault). The expressiveness of the remaining open structure is complemented by the three-dimensional bending of several arches, demonstrating the plasticity and uniqueness of the chosen construction material.
