Homestead in Serebryanyi pinery: gallery

The task to design and build a separate pavilion for storage and presentations of paintings, as well as the collection of automobiles is rather non-typical.

The space for private glamorous parties and hangouts should not be excessively elaborated to keep the attention on the main exhibits and at the same time to be on the peak of modern fashion tendencies in architecture and social life of the clubbable elite. That is why against the background of pine wood landscape there is a pure curvilinear plane, which simultaneously is the roof of the canopy for the automobiles and the gallery roof transforming into its wall, then to its floor and finally to the ramp. Cut by the trees and torn off the ground, the gallery is being an abstract suprematic form and a sculptural-biomorphic organism at the same time.
