Yandex headquarters at L’va Tolstogo street (3nd stage)
The latest addition to the Yandex office at the business center "Krasnaya Roza", designed by the bureau "Atrium", is the conference area "Moulin Rouge", which occupies a significant part of the 1st floor. It can be accessed from both the main office space and the entrance to the building, where a small reception area is set up for guests of Yandex events from other companies.
read-about-project
The conference hall with 138 seats is designed as well as other "special purpose" blocks in this office - in the form of a separate volume of sculptural forms, complicated in necessary places with additional function. And if recognizable finishes of the main working space are used in the decoration of the volume itself (dranka, concrete-colored painting, "green wall"), then additional "incisions" justify the name of the entire zone: "Moulin Rouge", which translates from French as "red mill". In the central part, there are bright red lacquered doors of warehouse premises, to the right of the entrance - a fully equipped red-gray coffee point kitchen. The passage surrounding the hall is transformed into a coffee break and informal communication area, and the entrances inside are accentuated by yellow "piers" flowing into the amphitheater fences.
In the hall, the same red-gray carpet is used, but yellow dominates: yellow entrance portals, yellow chairs. Yellow ceiling acoustic panels in white frames are stacked in a volumetric 3D object, the facets of which are emphasized by built-in lights. LED lighting highlights rows of seats and even steps running along them. But all the numerous broken and spatial curves, as if performing a slow group dance, converge to one point - the stage with a media screen, which should captivate the attention of the audience.
